NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Father’s Day is this Sunday and it’s a good excuse
to get a gift for the dads, granddads, uncles, and just-plain good guys in
our lives.
Sree Sreenivasan, tech expert from our partner network CNET and Columbia
University’s chief digital officer, has some ideas you’ll want to know
about.
If the man you are buying a gift for already has a smartphone or a tablet,
these are some cool, useful, and fun ideas for paid apps you can get him.

The final item is not an app, but an actual gift,
though it is a digital one.
It’s the SensoGlove ($89).
It’s a gift your dad can touch and feel. The SensoGlove is a way to improve
his swing by analyzing and giving real-time feedback about his grip. It has
a small device on the back of a normal looking glove (you can move it to a
