Okay, so you have the iPad – now what?
Apple made this product that can be so more than a tool to check email
with, so what do you want to do with it? Maybe you have someone on your
shopping list that loves their iPad and you would like to get them
something to go with it. Fear not, I am here to help. Here are a few
recommended geeky gadgets. Clicking the included links will take you to
sites for more information and purchase. Most products are also
available at Apple Stores and Amazon.
For the music lover – foxLv2 Bluetooth
The foxLv2
is a pocket-sized speaker that audio purists will love. It has
Bluetooth connectivity and a lithium-ion battery so you can bring
the highly portable foxLv2 hi-fi audio speaker wherever you bring
your iPad or other device: on the road, at work for presentations,
to play music at parties, watch movies in the living room, tailgate
at football games, and much more. It is incredibly small at 5.6”
wide x 2.2” high x 1.4” deep, and the foxLv2 features a full range
of audio output from 80Hz – 20kHz with real bass for amazingly good
music in a tiny package that fits with your portable lifestyle.
For the foodie – the iGrill
The iGrill
is a Bluetooth cooking thermometer that reads temperatures ranging
from 40F (0C) to 400F (204C)). It comes with two probes, which lets
you monitor two pieces of meat simultaneously. The free iGrill App
advises what temperature you should be aiming for the different
types of meats, letting you know approximately how much time is
remaining before your food is ready.
